Soft calls of takbeer adorn the crisp morning air
Hundreds gather early to offer eid prayer
A melodious recitation rings through the field
Hearts united strong
An unbreakable bond
as we fall in prostration upon the dewy grass
Salam sister,
Happy to read a new poem of yours. It’s beautiful. I love feeling the love and the fraternity in our community on this day (even if some sisters are not very kind at the mosque, they push others away or take their children without asking haha)
Aid moubarak to you and your family. Hope you enjoyed it.
I also want to tell you that i nominated you for One Lovely Blog Award, hope you didn’t make it yet. Waiting to read your post insha’Allah 😉 if you want to do it of course.
May Allah protect my sweet sister.
Ameen sister, i wrote all i had to say, nothing more, nothing less. I hope you will publish new poems soon, but since i also write poetry (in french, i’m not able to do it in english sadly haha) i know that inspiration don’t come easily 😉
❤️Wa salam

We don’t have dewy grass over here. More like chewy mud. Just kidding! 😀
Just glancing at your words feels like Eid. Beautifully written.
