5P5S challenge || Day five

Strolling past this beautiful masjid, I couldn’t resist the urge to snap a few shots. The intricate details and dark wooden door was just captivating, stealing the gazes of passer’s by.

But we must remember, it is of no use spending tons of money and using expensive materials to build extravagant mosques if it will merely be admired from far!
A masjid is truly beautiful when it is occupied with believers engaged in worship; reciting the holy quraan, offering prayers or just keeping the tongues busy with the remembrance of our Lord. Only then will blessings fill the air.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him likewise in Paradise.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî and Sahîh Muslim]

    Wow, firstly these images are beautiful and the filter you used is perfect. When I saw this masjid I imagined you were in an Islamic country, it’s build is so original and authentic, so I was really surprised to learn that it’s located in Leicester.

    Masha’allah such a beautiful mosque reminds me of mosquee de Paris! Can’t believe it’s here in UK . I agree a lot of us don’t appreciate fully what we have (I’m guilty) .

    Whooaaa I think you were being really humble in your About Page when you downplayed your photography skills! These are stunning shots… I’m really looking forward to seeing more of your work! And no filter?! Okay I’m officially awestruck 😅 Really amazing work, masha Allah. And an excellent moral message as well 😘
